Prior to joining Fairgrounds St. Pete, John-Michael was the General Manager for the immersive retail entertainment space with Nickelodeon Slime City and Trolls the Experience. John-Michael is an expert in managing and enhancing guest experience. His enthusiastic and high energy hands-on management style makes work alongside him fun for everyone. At Fairgrounds, he has overseen the implementation of our timed entry system and the creation of pathways for guests that allow for maximum interaction with Fairgrounds’ St. Pete weird, wacky, wonderful world.

Having toured the globe managing productions and live events, Chris brings his extensive background in production and operations are critical to build and launch Fairgrounds St. Pete as a world-class arts and technology destination. Most recently, Chris was the Senior Director of Production and Associate Producer for Feld Entertainment. He’s uniquely suited to bring a narrative-based, immersive experience like Fairgrounds to life. With storytelling and the guest journey at the heart of everything he does, his work with the team to make the exhibit an aesthetically pleasing and safe and comfortable space to create lasting memories.
“I’m excited to highlight each individual artist in a way that lifts them up while also weaving their work together to create the overarching Fairgrounds St. Pete narrative. The guests feeling immersed in the world of Fairgrounds from the moment they walk in the door has been at the heart of every decision we have made from the beginning. We want them to feel like they’ve stepped into a new reality where they are invited to explore and be inspired,” said Chris.
